According to preliminary statistics provided by the Brazilian ministry of development, industry and foreign trade, in December 2012 Brazil's flat steel exports totaled 208,581 tonne rising by 15.8% YoY and down 6.5% from November 2012. Brazilian flat rolled steel exports was 223,000 tonne in November 2012 double YoY.
The revenue generated by these exports in December last year totaled USD 150.8 million down 4.4% from the December 2011 level and down 6.4% MoM.
