Characteristics of SPV36 Steel
Chemical Composition and Properties: SPV36 steel is a type of steel used for pressure vessels in Japan, with its chemical composition and properties essentially equivalent to those of domestic 16MnR steel in China. It possesses excellent weldability and mechanical properties, making it suitable for manufacturing medium- and low-temperature pressure vessels as well as high-pressure equipment.
Machinability: SPV36 steel exhibits good machinability and can be processed through hot rolling, normalizing, and other processes to meet the requirements for different shapes and sizes.
Corrosion Resistance: Although SPV36 steel is not specifically a stainless steel, it can be used in various environments, including some mildly corrosive ones, when appropriate corrosion prevention measures are taken.
Applications of SPV36 Steel
