P355N steel plate is widely used in various industrial sectors due to its high strength, excellent toughness, superior corrosion resistance, and good machinability.2025-08-19
The P355N steel plate is a weldable fine-grain steel plate designed for pressure vessels in accordance with European standards. It exhibits high strength, excellent toughness, superior corrosion resistance, and good machinability, making it widely applied in fields such as petroleum, chemicals, power stations, and boilers.
Adhering to the EN 10028-3 standard, the P355N steel plate achieves a balance between strength and toughness through the synergistic effect of low carbon content and multiple alloying elements.
High Strength: The yield strength reaches 355 MPa, with a tensile strength ranging from 490 to 630 MPa (for thicknesses ≤16mm). As the thickness of the steel plate increases, the yield strength and tensile strength are adjusted accordingly, but they consistently remain at a high level.
Excellent Toughness: In low-temperature environments, the P355N steel plate maintains good toughness and is less prone to brittle fracture. Its impact energy reaches 40J, 47J, and 55J at -20℃, 0℃, and +20℃, respectively (for thicknesses ≤16mm), making it suitable for various low-temperature working conditions.
Corrosion Resistance: After special treatment, the P355N steel plate demonstrates good corrosion resistance, enabling it to adapt to various complex environments and extend the service life of equipment.
Weldability: The P355N steel plate exhibits good weldability, facilitating various welding operations and meeting the manufacturing requirements for pressure vessels and other equipment.
