As a molybdenum-alloy steel plate for pressure vessels under the ASTM A204/A204M standard, A204 Gr.A is a low-alloy, high-strength material specifically designed for service conditions involving moderate temperatures (≤400°C) and moderate-to-high pressure2026-03-31
DIN17102 TStE255 steel is a German standard low-alloy steel plate with specific mechanical properties and chemical composition requirements.
Low-temperature Performance: The minimum impact energy of TStE255 steel can reach as low as -50°C, making it suitable for structural components that operate in low-temperature environments.
Heat Treatment: After welding or processing, TStE255 steel may require specific heat treatment to ensure its properties. The recommended post-weld heat treatment temperature is 690±14°C, with a holding time of at least 3 hours. If post-weld heat treatment cannot be performed promptly, hydrogen removal treatment at 350~400°C for a holding time of not less than 2 hours should be carried out immediately.
Applications:
Mechanical Manufacturing: Due to its excellent mechanical properties and low-temperature toughness, TStE255 steel can be used to manufacture various mechanical equipment and components that operate in low-temperature environments, such as mining machinery and engineering construction machinery.
Building Structures: This material is also suitable for manufacturing building structures that need to withstand low-temperature stresses, such as bridges and factories.
Other Applications: Thanks to its unique properties, TStE255 steel can also be used to manufacture various types of engineering machinery, such as drilling rigs, electric shovels, electric wheel dumpers, mining trucks, excavators, loaders, bulldozers, various types of cranes, hydraulic supports for coal mines, and other mechanical equipment and structural components.
DIN17102 TStE255 steel, with its excellent low-temperature toughness, mechanical properties, and processability, has broad application prospects in mechanical manufacturing, building structures, and other fields where it operates in low-temperature environments.
